The FASTI FP Series was designed to hit that "middle ground" where a shop's forming requirements range from a 4mm to 6mm (.1575" to 1/4"), faces the rigors of round the clock production, but also requires a machine with all the "luxury" extras.
Built like a tank, this is the folding system that dares you to punish it with all you've got: good blanks, bad blanks; run it all day, all night. Beat it up. It is a workhorse! However, just because it's rugged on the outside, doesn't mean it's like a tank on the inside. The FP has the interior of the finest luxury car. Take a look:
SOPHISTICATED GAUGING SYSTEMS
Gauging is one of the key elements required for accuracy in finished parts no matter what the thickness of material being formed. Weak, flimsy gauging renders any fabricating system unacceptable, and always results in poor part quality, which costs you hard, bottom line dollars. FASTI has built the FP Series with the finest gauging in the industry, including twin ball-screw drives, steel or nylon ball transfers, solid gauging rails, pop-up stops, and options that you would never expect on a workhorse like this one.
Four standard shapes with depths starting at 1000 mm (39”) and options up to 6 m (19’) are available. We even provide feed systems which automatically feed the material through the forming operation.

The FASTI FP is outfitted with a massive set of twin side drives that bring a positioning tolerance of 1/10th of a degree resulting in unparalled repeatability of all of your bends. This powerful, yet highly accurate electro-mechanical system delivers the goods 24/7, because it is engineered to be all business.
In addition, automatic BMP (Bending Middle Point) adjustment capability provides an incredibly stiff 'H' frame between the side frames and the bottom beam, resulting in continued bend accuracies and tolerances that are virtually impossible to achieve on any other system.
